DACH

“DACH” is a film directed by Robert Glassford and Timo Langer in 2007. They thought to themselves “Hey, how far are we prepared to go in order to make it? I’m prepared to jump of a building!” was the answer. And so they did. That’s how the idea for the film came about. No, not really.
They were looking for a simple yet powerful way of presenting their narrative and solely relied on visual language instead of a spoken language. Subtlety was king.
Often the simple ideas are the ones which tell you the most, make you feel the most. Like the great film “The Red Balloon” by Albert Lamorisse. One genius idea. A boy and a balloon becomes an image about growing up or maybe even life.
DACH wants to be like that.

Life’s lonely at the top.
